After a year of operation, the Layhill SCS Sheet Line has been acquired
by Feralloy Corporation of Chicago, IL. Feralloy has relocated the line to its Berkeley County, South Carolina facility near the Nucor Berkeley mill. The line began operation April,2007

Continues With SCS

Warren "Chip" Gerber, Jr. will continue his involvement with SCS through his association with the Southeast's next SCS Sheet Line, which will be installed on the campus of the new SeverCorr steel mill in Columbus, Mississippi.
